The Metrognome Collective is an ever-changing co-op. It’s evolved twice inside of two different physical locations, but has existed for years in the form of house shows, satellite exhibits, renegade gatherings, free municipal beautification, educational classes, and anything else we can find to further arts in North Texas.

MISSION STATEMENT

Mission Co Op was formed to educate, promote and assist visual artists, musicians, writers, performers and filmmakers to enable them to make the transition into full time art careers, with a concentration on artists who are constantly and through unconventional methods challenging themselves, their medium, and their audience; to sponsor meetings and workshops for artists regarding how to obtain representation, charitable contributions and fair compensation for their artistic endeavors; to sponsor meetings and workshops for artists to train them in utilizing current technology to further their craft; to sponsor other services to strengthen the North Texas arts community; and to accessibly educate the public about emerging artists and their work.
